First run with new shoes! 👟

Until today, I had been running in a pair of Nike Downshifter’s - they were fine when I first started C25K, but as I have started running farther/faster since graduating at the start of June, they really weren’t cutting it anymore.

Today was my first run in new new shoes (On Cloudflow) and also my first ever 8km. Different shoes make such a difference! I was faster and had none of the aches and pains I was used to at the end of the run 😍

Better shoes really do make a world of difference, even if spending this much money on a pair of shoes did make me die inside a little 😂😬

Great new shoes for you, it does make all the difference when running on longer runs with proper running shoes although they may break the bank. 😊

It really does make such a difference! Worth every penny so far in my opinion 😁

It’s true! Like when we were kids, new trainers do make you run faster! I wore my new ones on Sunday and my pace was a lot faster than previous runs 😊🏃🏻‍♀️

It is definitely true! I think just having that bit of extra cushioning and spring from new shoes makes all the difference 😁
