Well after 5 rest days (stressful week, just didn't have the mental capacity) I was a bit worried about this run but I remembered that a few people said it doesn't matter how many rest days you have. So off I went to repeat W6 R2 after my less than successful run last week (see previous post!). Decided to take a different route and so glad I did - not sure if it was the change of scenery but the first 10 was a dream! Felt like I could've done the full 25 mins, didn't really want to stop. Then got a bit lost during the second 10, and after a couple of small hills was pretty knackered by the end but overall this was a great run! ππΌ Honestly this is the first run I've enjoyed for a while, I don't know what happened. Hooray!
Also for anyone interested I tried the Nike Running Club app today and much prefer it to Strava (which I find a bit overly complex, and also really wish it would stop trying to make me share my runs!) It gives you an audible pace check a couple of times which I thought was really useful as I normally only see that at the end.

Oh well done! I was so pleased to read your write up. It is proof that we shouldnβt feel discouraged because of a run that didnβt go as planned. You did it! πππ. Now you can move on with confidence. Youβve got this π
Huge well done... and for overcoming that angst...some runs are for whatever reason, tricky! You did it and now, you can move onto the lovely longer runs and let the newly forming running legs begin to find their happy pace
