I did my Wk 5, run3 (20mins straight) today! It actually wasn’t that bad! I was dreading it!

I’ve struggled with what to do whilst running, I’m doing it on a treadmill, and I find it boring. So I’ve tried, music, films, audio books! Nothing was helping! BUT.....comedians are it for me! I’m trying not to laugh, but they are making the time go quicker. I’m hoping when I feel more comfortable in myself about running I’ll get out on the pavement. Never thought I’d run for 20mins straight, I think I could have done longer? Maybe I should pick my pace up a bit? Or carry on like I am, until I finish? And the. Pick it up gradually?

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, it's not all that dreadful as you found out, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Carry on, doing what you are doing.. why rush it:) When you do get outside then you can begin to let your running evolve gently:)

Slow and steady is the way... well done you:)

Well done. I’m due to tackle week5 run3 tomorrow and I am very nervous. Reading your post really did boost my confidence. It’s such a huge jump.
