My first run in 4 days, due to recovery from my first post work runs. Felt I needed to let my sore muscles heal. Also I was waiting for my new tights to come, yes you read that right, I’m a grown man running in tights 😂 Don’t worry I wear shorts as well, don’t want all the ladies getting too excited now do we 🤣🤣
Anyway It was a lot better than I was expecting, started off very easily hoping that all the healing had been done. Checked my watch and I’d done about 1KM, everything seemed fine and I think that let me just relax and get on with it.
I know they say you don’t lose any significant fitness in the first couple of weeks but it felt really comfortable from start to finish. Never at any point felt like my breathing was an issue, just a few little niggles which is quite normal for me.
As for the tights they seemed to work really well, a little odd feeling at first but forgot I was even wearing them after a while. I felt like I had loads of energy even towards the end, can’t be a coincidence right?
