You must feel amazing to be able to get up and run 5K. Just done W1 R1, so a long way to go 🏃🌈

Hi, not really long every other day it sounds come round, and yes its a great feeling to achieve that distance but it took me 13 weeks to whats now Comfortable.

My first day WK1R1, I was knackered after 30sec of the 60 or 90 sec stint, can't remember and I was disgusted with myself and that gave me to willpower to do this Program.

So good luck on your journey 😷🏃‍♂️✌

Is it comfortable now Knightrider? I have no aspirations to run longer distances but I want to be able to run 5k happily....

hi, yes its comfortable now, for example today I was just gonna do a 30min run, but once I got to that your body just carry-on, its hard to explain.

Basically 30mins is a long run in my opinion, but I never thought about it, I just did each day as it comes and follow the app to the max .

Some people go for speed and others for stamina/endurance, I choose the latter, do whats right for you, and this forum is brilliant for advice and tips, but I would recommend you read all the apps advice, its vital for your journey. 🙂

Yes you are absolutely right, I know I need to stretch and stuff but the second I walk back in the door the children are all over me. I will read up on it! Thank you

Hi, I feel your delima, maybe when you get the cool down 5min prompt rout it so you have a few minutes spare before home and that way you could do small but significant stretchs, that why the kids can pile into you, glad mine are grown up.....well sometimes haha 😄 hope it helps

I do my stretches outside my house, leaning against it. I have 4 demanding house cats and I wouldn’t get mine done either... (I know, not the same as kids, but almost as demanding). I find that final time is nice to praise myself on the workout I’ve done 😊

Thank you. I've started a few times, but I'm doing a 1,000,000 steps challenge for Diabetes UK, so very determined 🏃😊
