Mind willing body falling apart

Hi all, I am finding that I am really enjoying jogging. I have just finished Wk3R3 and am buzzing but...... my Achilles on my left and my hip flexor on my right leg are not happy. So much so that I have been crippled today. Rest and compress, I know. Has anyone else had similar problems?😞. (Honestly I didn’t know it was possible to limp on both legs. And yes I am being very good with warm ups and cool down stretches.)

Great job on the first 3rd of this plan.

Maybe this would be a good time to let the niggles have an extra rest day, or two, maybe three? Are you doing any training on rest days? Strength and Flex, linked in the guide and with a forum on here, really helps.

Yes I thought I would leave my next run until Friday. I have a session of Pilates before then and will plan in some gentle walking/stretching. So annoying as finally getting off that couch 😞

Annoying, yes... I’ve been there... but a few days with our old buddy couch is better than several months of it 😂

Are you wearing proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop?

No but I have read your info on this, so something I need to consider I think.
