Hi Smile

Iā€™m glad you brought that up as Iā€™m on W4 R2 tomorrow and I still donā€™t get Michaelā€™s breathing tip šŸ˜‚.

To much to think about and trying to jog and control the breathing.

My tip is do whatā€™s comfortable and the main point is get enough oxygen into your body as you need it to keep going. Iā€™m no pro I just do what I works for me šŸ‘šŸ»

No no definitely not. You just have to go with it. To much to think about for my little brain šŸ¤£

Follow the tips in the guide to the plan on breathing healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which advises you to do what comes naturally.

Donā€™t think about your breathing too much just relax and youā€™ll find that your pace will dictate your breaths not everyone is the same or uses the same methods itā€™s whatā€™s comfortable for you

I couldn't get on with that breathing advice either. I think the important thing is to breathe naturally and not to be moving at a pace where you find you are gasping for breath! Try to breathe naturally and try not to pant. :)

My advice is completely ignore it ! Haha.

I could never get my head around that !

I also posted about it when I was on that week .

If your struggling to breathe , slow it down !

It will come , you will start to find your natural speed to maintain comfortable breathing .

I found I started to stress about it because it just did not make sense to me šŸ˜‚

I gave up thinking about my breathing. I find that if I can get my legs and arms in a rhythm, breathing just works.

Yeah Iā€™m another who couldnā€™t get my head around that one. The later advice about breathing in while pushing out my stomach and then releasing it I found so much easier and actually helpful šŸ˜Š

I didnā€™t get it either! So reassuring that it wasnā€™t just me.

Iā€™ve just finished week 7, and still breathe in & out through my mouth ... canā€™t maintain breathing through my nose (except tonight when I went through a swarm of flies ... then I managed to keep my mouth shut!!!)

To echo what others have said, I stopped thinking about it & it got easier.
