The coaches tip for breathing is timing inhale to 4 left foot striking the ground. And the same for exhale.

So inhale LRLRLRLR exhale LELRLRLR is this correct? My breathing is about half this capacity

I don't remember what the breathing instructions were, but I remember not being able to do it. I haven't followed any technique other than getting oxygen into my lungs as much as possible. :D

Don’t worry about any of that just do what comes naturally. Slow things down so you’re breathing doesn’t become ragged

If you get seriously out of puff just stop to get your breath back. you will eventually evolve your breathing to suit your stride pattern It will all just click into place 🙂

I know what you mean I remember posting on here that I just about tripped over trying to breath and count steps all at the same time, I was in a right old flap! So I ditched that idea and relaxed and started to breath nice and deeply but slowly and I slowed my pace right down. Im at end of week 7 now and I feel my breathing has sorted itself out
