Am facing Week 2, Run 3 on Friday - anyone any tips on how to even out breathing? Sarah Millican says count four on the out breath for four strikes of the left foot and then four on the inbreath for four strikes of the left foot. This makes me hyperventilate and get a bit panicky, so I'm doing something different but it's a bit random. Any advice appreciated - am now beginning to understand that breathing is key to stamina.

Do what feels right for you.
I do three in, two out. It works for me but everyone is different.

Do what is comfy and feels right... as long as you keep breathing.. that will do at this stage
We are both at the same stage with the same problem. I will try the three in two out method tomoz to see if it helps. Let me know how you get on tomorrow
I slow my breathing and try to take deep breaths in and out and push shoulders back and head up, I find counting doesn't help me at all. Keep going... 👍
I find counting gets me all confused too but breathing from my belly and concentrating on making the out breaths a bit longer than I naturally do helps.
