I ran wk9 r1 two weeks ago then due to injury (non running related!) I had to take a break. I felt gutted and worried that my progress and motivation might be about to disappear down the toilet - I have literally been resting and snacking and haven’t gone over the door. Today, however, I felt like I could manage a walk and decided to get the running gear on in case I had the impulse to have a wee jog whilst I was out. Walked to my usual starting point and began to jog slowly all the time telling myself I can stop when I like... 30 mins later I came to a halt because I had run my whole circuit. It’s amazing to me that in May I couldn’t even run for 5 minutes and now I’m looking forward to Monday when I’ll re-start week 9 and hopefully graduate at last !!

Brilliant. Slow and steady wins the race every time😁👍
That's brilliant! Why restart week 9 if you now have two 30 minute runs under your belt? Why not go ahead to the graduation run? 😊
