Good, it is practically the law to have a grotty run somewhere in weeks 7-9 and maybe you've got yours out of the way now!

The challenges and the learning evolve into something different in these final weeks (it's mostly head stuff, learning to be with the weird emotional roller coaster of a run) They build that 'running continuously for 30 minutes on a regular basis' The struggle is real and the struggle is worth it.

I had a similar experinence. Found wk 6 r3 pretty grim, as well as wk7 r1, but i just focussed on the facts... youve now done that run twice and are half way through these 25 min runs! How awesome is that?! Make sure you are super hydrated and try not to push yourself too much too early on in the run. But most importantly.... switch your 'i got this' mindset on!! You CAN do this... you've already done it twice and it will get easier as the week goes on... im starting week 8 today and feeling excited - mind over matter!

That’s so true I didn’t even think about that with the 25 minute runs! well done you - we’ve both got this!! 🏃🏻‍♀️

It is not unusual to have a difficult run around this stage in the plan. The runs are lengthening now and your legs, breathing, stamina and pace are all learning to adjust to these regular consecutive runs.

The best advice is to allow yourself to relax into the longer runs now, take your pace right down, keep well-hydrated on both run and rest days and stretch after each run.

Be kind to yourself and don't over-think it too much. You're doing brilliantly, keep it up.
