I woke up early this morning so got up and about and went out for week 8 run 2. It was a little drizzly, but I decided that I wouldn't take my hoody as I've felt that was becoming a bit of a burden on the longer runs. I ended up a little damp, but was nice and cool throughout the run.
I've been giving myself 2 days rest between all my runs, but for the first time I didn't feel any problems in my legs last night, and was itching to get out and about so went for it.
Every week something seems to click and help a little bit - this week I've been concentrating on picking my heels up (I don't know if that's the best description) and it seems to have improved my pace (slightly).
I still can't believe how much I've achieved over the course of c25k

So close now! I agree sometimes rest days are just toooo long!
It's truly amazing how much progress you can make as you work through this program. It can be hard work, and it's rare to take any run for granted, but it's so rewarding and worthwhile. Three years post graduation I am still learning things about running, new things still click into place. You should definitely feel really proud of everything you've achieved 💪👍🙂
