Well I've done it It almost feels like I've completed the entire program haha!
It was really REALLY tough. It had been 11 days since my last run, at least 4 times a year I get hit with an extreme wave of fatigue out of nowhere, and it had raised it's ugly head. I had gone out on Saturday to walk to walk the dog with my husband to see if I could manage things and it went so badly that he had to run home and get the car to pick me up. After a few days I was feeling a more energetic so thought I should try and get back into the C25K so as not to lose all my previous hard work. But to say I was apprehensive would be an understatement!
My hubby came with me for support (and doggo) and I'm so glad he was there. At one point, approx 16 min in, I was 100% convinced I was going to vomit. Running (well, very very slowly jogging) whilst telling my husband I'm going to boke was a very strange experience, but he kept me going reminding me that it's all in the mind - 'your body can do it, don't let the mind tell you otherwise!'. My legs were jelly at the end, but I felt so proud!
So here's to my wonderful husband and all of the wonderful cheerleaders that support and believe in us all, Thank you!

Well done! You had all those challenges and you still came through. You have every right to be super proud of yourself! That is a milestone run, which is followed by another interval run W6 R1. Some find it tricky going back to intervals of walking after the euphoria of completing a 20 minute run. I just looked on it as training for the next longer run. Congratulations on your achievement and fabulous that your husband and dog are so supportive! 😀
Well done to your husband on helping you with run 3 of week 5 and congratulations to you on completing it.
Run 3 of week 5 is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊
