This is the 3rd time I have started from the beginning having getting to week 3, this time I'm enjoying it more, slightly different I'm doing it on a cross trainer, I don't know if it's as good but a least I'm doing something and enjoying it. Love to all and don't give up

Welcome to the forum and well done on restarting.

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

A cross trainer will develop your cardio fitness and to a degree your leg muscles, but it will not turn you into a runner, nor do anything for bone strength......it is the impact of running that does that.
