.... but it didnβt stop me, I grabbed the baseball cap and off I went! I was really prepared for this run, both physically and mentally, I felt great. Ran the full 30 mins with no real tough points and far more bursts of energy. I managed 4.68K today so really, really chuffed with that π feeling fit, happy, a bit lighter and very supported but this community. Good luck to anyone else running in the rain today, donβt put it off, if this 50yr old bird can do it, so can you!! π
W9 R1 - Got up and saw the rain π: .... but it... - Couch to 5K

Well done! Thatβs great! I do love the rain when I run πββοΈ thought it was a bit weird π
Great run... 30 minutes done! Love every step of the last two runs of the plan. That 5k wonβt take long to bag afterwards too!
Iβd love to get 5K done in 30, thatβs my goal! πͺπΌ
Give it time and itβll come... itβs pretty common for new runners to knock minutes off their 5k time in the first weeks/months of running the distance. Think from memory my first was 36ish, which I took a bit easier, soon it was just sub 30... last autumn I went just under 26, and Iβve never put much effort into my 5k time.

Just applause at your awesomeness

Sounds a great run and that was brilliant getting to 4.68k! I bet by the time you've done a few consolidation runs you'll hit 5k no bother. 2 more to go!!!
Absolutely brilliant. Well done. 30 minutes in the bag. Your pace is excellent already; well ahead of me. Youβll get that 5k in 30 very soon.
Well done! βΊοΈ
πͺπ»π Go you!
