.... but it didn’t stop me, I grabbed the baseball cap and off I went! I was really prepared for this run, both physically and mentally, I felt great. Ran the full 30 mins with no real tough points and far more bursts of energy. I managed 4.68K today so really, really chuffed with that πŸŽ‰ feeling fit, happy, a bit lighter and very supported but this community. Good luck to anyone else running in the rain today, don’t put it off, if this 50yr old bird can do it, so can you!! πŸ˜‚

Great run... 30 minutes done! Love every step of the last two runs of the plan. That 5k won’t take long to bag afterwards too!

I’d love to get 5K done in 30, that’s my goal! πŸ’ͺ🏼

Give it time and it’ll come... it’s pretty common for new runners to knock minutes off their 5k time in the first weeks/months of running the distance. Think from memory my first was 36ish, which I took a bit easier, soon it was just sub 30... last autumn I went just under 26, and I’ve never put much effort into my 5k time.

Sounds a great run and that was brilliant getting to 4.68k! I bet by the time you've done a few consolidation runs you'll hit 5k no bother. 2 more to go!!!

Thank you! I’d like to think so, but slowly does it. Just so pleased to get this far with such a dodgy back! 😊

Absolutely brilliant. Well done. 30 minutes in the bag. Your pace is excellent already; well ahead of me. You’ll get that 5k in 30 very soon.

Thank you! I really hope so, it’s been challenging but I really feel like I can do this now! πŸŽ‰
