Well here I am at the end of this amazing journey. The 🐌has made it, it wasn’t 5k it’s def not pretty but I did πŸƒβ€β™€οΈfor 30 mins !! What a journey I even realised after ten mins my calves no longer hurt !!

For anyone starting out on this journey be encouraged this is me.

65 and very overweight, health issues and never liked sport. My father used to say I ran with my legs tied together !!! But here I am thanks to C25K and this forum. My determination to not have my husband beat me also helped. It’s been tough and I’ve doubted myself so many times but here I am at the end. I see this now as the beginning and am determined to carry on jogging three times a week. Hopefully I will get better and maybe some time from now reach 5k.

So for all you new folk out don’t give up!!

Well done you are an inspiration- Yesterday I did week 4 run 1 wow 5 minutes of running in go I never thought I could ever do that but I’m glad I did- I’m struggling today with pain in my hip but I would say being overweight doesn’t help - I will keep pushing - again well done x
