I started C25K last year never really thinking I would get to the end. I surprised myself as it didn’t take long for me to start enjoying it. Unfortunately I suffered a stress fracture in June 2019 and then winter set in....
I started again 12 weeks ago and I am very proud to say I have run W9R3 tonight.
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K 🎓 🏃🏾

Well done! & in this heat too. Get that wine poured 🍷👍
Fantastic Tracey! That's what you call coming back after injury in style! Congratulations 🥳. I thought I hadn't heard from you for a while 😊 so welcome back!

Thank you Dolly-dot, you have been with me since the beginning. To be honest the stress fracture broke my spirit for a bit, but I am stubborn and fought back 💪🏻 I really appreciate your advice and support, you have been the voice on my shoulder! How is your running going?

So lovely to have you back on here. I was so frustrated last year when I got into week 9 and then had to stop for 6 months due to injury. We are the come-back kids!
I consolidated in March, just as the lockdown started and IannodaTruffe gave me the title of the first graduate of the lockdown! Since then I have been consolidating, but had a break of 3 weeks due to shin splints. I did a gradual return after that to prevent further problems and am now working towards my first 5k, which I hope to achieve on my next run 🤞🏼 and then work towards 10k. I'm happy going at my own pace.
Good luck with consolidating - sign up to the June Consolidation Club if you haven't done already - great advice and support there.

Well done!!! Lovely to hear your set backs didn't put you off completely. Hope you get many happy runs under your belt now and go from strength to strength 💪💪🏃🏃
