I’m about to do W6R3, but haven’t run for a week because of work commitments. Should I just go for it, or repeat R2?

You lose no significant fitness in the first two weeks of not running - I was off for a week due to an injury and continued and was absolutely fine, so do R3 I would say

You’re welcome! If in doubt just keep it slower than usual at first until you are comfortable then you can go to your usual pace
I’m so glad I decided to go for it! It’s so easy to lose confidence, but even in the heat I managed it quite comfortably, at a slow pace, but for the last five minute I increased speed and felt great!

As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.
After just a week I would go for it !
You have probably not lost your fitness in that time .
Although that's just my opinion 😁
