Did just under 5k this morning (7.30 though it was hot already), each consolidation run has been slightly easier than the last. I'm going to do 4 or 5 more before moving on to 'stepping stones' and the Ju Ju's Magic 10 (8 week 10k program)
Hope you're all well and progressing ππππββοΈ

Thatβs great to hear - Iβve been wondering what to do at the end of week 9 and your suggested plan of action sounds good. Iβll take a look at the 8 week 10k program - I like that idea. Keep on running - it really is life changing ππΌββοΈπββοΈπ
Good for you Cockneymick on completing your 3rd 30 minute consolidation run at the not so hot time of half past seven in the morning, glad to hear that you are finding each run a little easier than the last.
Tomorrow I will be running my 10th 10K, ha, its also my proper running shoes first birthday, it was a year ago that I got a gait analysis and bought the recommended shoes and socks to match, I intend to run really early to avoid the heat.
Brilliant - you are an inspiration! I am still protecting a slight knee/hamstring problem by resting it and stretching/strengthening for a few days. A little frustrating but I'll be back on it before long. Right behind you!!
Wow thank you, its not very often I'm described as inspirational! I think everyone on this site is inspiring and motivating. You're right to rest up your leg, no point making it worse, I'm sure you'll be back out running shortly πββοΈπ
Well done on completing week 10 Cockneymick! πYouβre on a roll and sounding strong. π€ΈββοΈLooks like a great plan too! Iβll note it down and add it to all the other fantastic options I keep hearing about now. πKeep posting your enjoyment, itβs infectious! ππββοΈπ’
