1st run in over 5 weeks after my knee injury. It was all going well......then the other knee went-so frustrating. I’ve been doing all the right things knee exercises, walking, gardening drinking plenty of water. So I’m back on the ice again 😏

My knee had started to hurt, so took an extra rest day and ran the slowest I possibly could today - no pain. Listen to your body and take it slowly. Don't give up, just extend the time it takes (9 weeks is arbitrary anyway). Just have a little walk if nothing else and enjoy being outside.

So sorry to read this Getfitok.🙂 Have you had someone assess your gait and help you choose shoes? Might be something to explore now more shops are starting to open up. Being stuck on that injury couch is so frustrating but stay strong - there is usually a way back. Take care 🙂
