Oh dear! What a shame. Your'e doing the right thing though. Whatever you do don't rush it. Make sure your ankle is well and truly better before you run again otherwise you'll be setting yourself up for problems in the future. So near yet so far - but when you do finally do that run you'll be fresh and so up for it! πŸ˜‰

Terrible timing... great decision. Here’s hoping it settles down soon.

Oh no! That's such a pity. You are definitely doing the right thing, far better to be cautious now. Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation, until it heals. You can rest for 2 weeks without loss of fitness apparently, and don't go crackers when you next try to run. A run-walk to test out the ankle and ease yourself back in. Fingers crossed it's not too serious and you'll soon get your graduation badge 🀞

I feel your pain, I did the exact same thing with one run left myself a few weeks ago. There's light at the end of the tunnel, I started back again tentatively and am hoping to graduate this weekend coming.

Be kind to yourself and let it heal before you come back fighting!

Wishing you a speedy recovery
