I have just started Week 1 Run 1 and downloaded the app and input my details, I thought I would be able to track my running route through the app but I can't find an option for this, is this correct or am I missing something on the app ?

Thank you.

The app doesn't track your run. You can download MapMyRun or Strava for free from your app store that do the job, though.

Well done for starting c25k. If you want to track your runs download Strava that's what use 😊

Very well done getting started.

This programme, and app, is about becoming a runner... so distance and pace don’t matter, just time. Tracking the run, mapping it, breaking down your performance etc is almost counter productive to becoming a runner. You never need to know if you were fast enough... you were... you never need to check if you were too slow... too slow doesn’t exist. So, a good C25K app doesn’t record such things.

If... and it’s a big if... you are strong enough to see your runs stats and not care, just being proud of the fact you did that run... then by all means install Nike Run Club, MapMyRun, Strava, or another tracking app. If you are the I need to beat yesterday every day type... avoid tracking your runs... that’s the highway to injury.

Hope that helps... enjoy your journey.

I could be wrong but I don't think there is an option. I would like to do that too, how ever my fitbit tracks it. As does an app on my phone x

Same for me. Fitbit with my fitness band and Moves X which is always running in the back ground.
