I'm only on week 1 ( Run 3 tomorrow morning ) But do you all use an app to keep an eye on how you are doing, distance etc?? any suggestions would be most welcome, i could run it in the backround while the podcast is playing perhaps .
Thanks in advance

When I was running outside, on my return home I would plot my route into GB Mapometer - guess it's a similar thing to Emma's Map My Run, but I'm rather a "techno-saur" ..... no smart phones here
Well done. Keep going. I'm just about to start week 4 and am loving it.
I use the Couch-to-5k app and listen to Sergeant Block to keep me motivated and have my own playlist running in the background. I also use May My Walk, (select RUN) and that tracks my route for me when I'm running outside. It also syncs with My Fitness Pal so enters my run there too. Good luck xxx
I use runkeeper which is a free app that runs on my iPhone. Measures time, speed and distance and uploads to a site so the runs get aggregated. You can set intervals on it too and it runs in the background with my own music.
I use map my run, but honestly I'm happy enough if I can complete the programme, regardless of distance for now. I'm also on week 1 by the way. I'm thinking it's probably quite important to keep better track once I've started doing some real distance running... A while away yet, I'm afraid.
I use sportstracker, very simple and hasn't let me down. However I didn't use anything for the programme, just Laura and the podcast....be careful not to overdo the stats early on it has put some people off...
