Hi all,

There a a whole host of run tracking apps Runkeeper, Endomondo, Strava, Mapmyrun etc. which you can use on your phone or you can use a GPS watch.
These are mentioned in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
When I was doing c25k I used Strava. It works well along side c25k and music . 😊😊
I just use the free version of Strava, it’s good to have a record of my runs and see how far I’ve got, and I’ve got it set to private, I don’t use it for networking at all, just as a private record. It runs alongside the C25k app and my music all at the same time 👍🏻
I use Endomondo as you can track lots of sports and activities, it is easy to use too but as said, there are many to choose from, MapMyRun is from the same company. Most of them not only track your distance, pace, speed etc., you can also create routes and it will measure the distance for you. Very helpful when you've been tracking distance for a few runs and get to know how far you can go in your time. I create new routes all the time around where I live, up and down different streets for a bit of variety.
I decided to use map My Run too, it was the first free application my search unearthed in Play Store. I'm only on week 1 at the moment ad am currently using the same there & back route every day (which I didn't plan using the app anyway). It's a gimmick for me at the moment, but it runs happily alongside the C25K app and I can compare my runs to each other if I want to. I may have a go at creating alternative runs with the app now that I know (roughly) how far I can get in my 30 minutes
I use Strava. It’s free if you don’t sign up.
