I didnβt quite make it to 5k, so I kept on running for another 10 minutes and managed to do the 5k in 40 minutes. Iβm absolutely over the moon!
The advice and support Iβve received here has really kept me going and Iβve loved reading the inspirational messages and stories of others completing it so thank you all! I really hope that I can be that inspiration to someone else.
Iβve gone from feeling so low about myself, constantly beating myself up with low self esteem and zero body confidence to being amazed at what I can achieve, proud of my body and its incredible adaptability and strength. I have been so determined to finish this and genuinely overcome so many mental barriers as well as physical. Iβve lost weight, my body is changing shape, and my mental health has improved so much.
If I can do it, anybody can!
