Friday and it was raining but I’m now a runner I told myself so off I went !! If there was a halo for a 🐌 then mine should be glowing !! Can’t quite believe I just went and did that. Me who loves my couch and crochet !!
So I am now officially a crazy senior lady probably should wear purple !!! My husband started this running programme and I said I’d walk it ! Now look at me I’m the one going out first thing he says he will wait till it’s nicer. Mind he’s a proper 🏃♀️not a 🐌 I’ll never be going with him 🤣🤣🤣
Feeling good so it’s a victory 🥂 and onto week 9. I feel I’ve already graduated in so many ways. I must be getting healthier surely ? I feel great when I’ve completed a jog. Now it will be just keeping this routine up that might be the challenge.
Anyone reading this who’s just starting you can do it just believe you can. I really didn’t think I could ever jog but here I am on the verge of completing !! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😇😇

I wonder how fast you’d be completing weeks 1 & 2! 😂
When I think back to how hard it felt at the beginning I never thought I would still be running now all this time later.,with 4 runs left! Now I get that urge that I NEED to go for a run. Absolutely amazing, every single one of us 😎
Yay, well done!🎉 The podium awaits. I graduated last week, 65 knocking on 66, have done 2 consolidation runs (w9r3) and plan to do that for a few weeks before looking at increasing distance/pace. It's amazing we can do this! We are all amazing. Go you!
Congratulations on completing week 8, mine tomorrow. Who’d have thought we’d get here, just one week away and enjoying it too. It truly is amazing 😀🐌🏃♀️
Very well done! It’s such an achievement, I’m nearly there too, it’s a great feeling! By the way, there’s nothing wrong with the couch and crochet, I throw in a bit of knitting too just to mix it up! 😂
