Just back from W3R3. Some things I've noticed:
Legs are a lot less painful and feel back to normal within 20min of being back and having stretched.
Pace has picked up a lot! Watch is clocking my run segments at about 5:30/km. This isn't intentional, I'm just finding it more comfortable.
Lungs burn a wee bit more but overall fatigue has reduced greatly!
Recovery has sped up day to day. I did a 70km bike ride yesterday in 3h15min. My best effort. And I felt good enough to run today and successfully complete week3 with improved pace and breathing.
My weight is down from 128kg to 122kg in 4 weeks. Although it has stayed at 122 for 5 days now.
Amazed at how well my body is adapting to the running.
