Week 3 Run2 done - running on grass makes a difference!

Completed run 2 of week 3 today. My previous runs have been on the road (including hills), and I found running uphill to be a struggle during my last run. I was advised here to consider running on flat ground. Today, I ran round a football pitch. I found that running on flat ground and grass made a lot of difference. Am interested in this, I too am W3 R2 just completed and wondered about grass running, was a bit worried about uneven ground and potential to wring over my ankle. Am guessing from your post that this wasn't an issue?

From my experience today, this was not an issue. I think this is partly because, I was jogging at a slow pace, which reduced the risk of landing my foot in an awkward position. Moreover, I was running round a football pitch which is regularly used for football, so it is well taken care off and doesn't have too many bumps. Perhaps, the more experienced runners here will give us some more advice on proper technique for reducing the risk of injury when running on grass.
