When I returned from my 30 minute run this morning I certainly looked like l was giving a beetroot a good run for its money! Phew ๐ it was warm early today ๐ฅต. Not attractive, not fast, but another run done and enjoyed ๐. I shall be heading out even earlier next time though!

I waited for the rain today before I went out.... I hate the heat thankfully Iโm in the U.K. so we have limited warm weather.
Iโm in the UK too but got caught out this morning by it being much warmer than I expected in my lovely South Downs and leaving a little later than usual ๐.
Running in the rain is so refreshing, I love it.
Happy running ๐
I hear you. I'm in Spain and did my week 7 R.3 this morning in 22 degrees ... up and out at 7 am for week 8
Wow! 22 degrees! I take my hat off to you! I can run in hotter weather once I have acclimatised to it, but the temperatures here are yo-yoing at the moment and my internal thermostat doesnโt know where itโs at!
Good luck for your final weeks ๐.

Itโs soooo hot for running. Iโm right there with you beetroot red, only Iโm dripping too. I left the house at 7am and it was my hottest run yet.
Oh Iโm dripping too, itโs not pretty! Early bird for the next run, I think ๐๐!

The problem with running in this weather is that you certainly can avoid the heat of later in the day by running in the morning around 7 o'clock but at that time the humidity is higher, so it's a case of running at 7am in high humidity but lower temperatures or running in lower humidity in the afternoon but in higher temperature, I prefer the lower temperature and just put up with the higher humidity.
Hi Al. Yes, I agree and was really humid this morning. Iโm usually out by 7am but pressed the fatal snooze button this morning....... ๐
I didnโt know that Iโm obviously meteorologically (if thatโs even a word) ignorant ๐. I was wondering about later in the evening what are your thoughts on that?
Late evening around 30 minutes before sunset is also a good time for a run, the temperature is falling but humidity is beginning to rise, there is always a risk of a thunderstorm in high humidity type weather as is now, I notice from the weather ๐ฉ lightning radar chart that there are a lot of thunderstorms now in many parts of England and a few in the Highlands of Scotland.

Glad you are having fun. Take care ๐ฃ๐๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
I am having fun! I donโt seem to be achieving much beyond running my run, but Iโm good ๐. How are you and your poorly arm doing?
Thank you for asking, we are good. Just out of plaster and in a splint. Thought I could get out there but waving it about doesn't work yet. Aiming for July 1st for maybe week 0. But we are fine. Plenty of lower body exercise and one handed stretches. ๐โโ๏ธ๐ช๐ค
That sounds like good progress ๐๐ผ๐.

Fab!! All adds up! Hope your back improving Delly-dot ๐๐
Oh my back is great, thank goodness. Gave myself a firm talking to for putting my running in jeopardy like that! Honestly, I canโt believe I wrote that last sentence.... ๐ ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ

I feel for you, I can't do heat either. No chance of that in Yorkshire this morning we had a thick chilly mist. Annoyingly I couldn't take advantage of it today, so fingers crossed for a misty morning tomorrow ๐
I love misty murky Yorkshire mornings!! Havenโt experienced them for a while.....
Enjoy your next run ๐

Well done you! It was supposed to rain all day and it was lovely but very muggy!
Cannot manage 5k in 30 mins, But strangely can manage 8k but takes ages.
Aim for peach next time!
Peach sounds good ๐ ๐. Iโm still working on that 5k!

Humidity seems to be the problem where I am in Scotland Delly-dot. Just like you I have the redest face imaginable and dripping in sweat. It's a good look ( its a good look) well I tell myself that anyway ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ

The humidity is utter pants I was late going out yesterday so not out until 6.30 am. I am a huge fan of beetroot ( especially in a choc cake) I applaud your tribute.
I like beetroot too, but yet to try it in chocolate cake.... ๐๐

I went for exactly the same look yesterday after setting off for a run about 7.15am - beetroot and sweaty ๐ฅต!! But at least we still got out and then you have that lovely feeling for the rest of the day knowing youโve done it!! ๐
