Just wondering do people log runs & distance from start of pre-run walk, plus post run cool down walk, or only their actual run...?

Hi Suzy,
At present, I log it all.... that 10 minutes of walking at the start and the end is just as important as the middle bit in my eyes. At the moment I am all about the whole exercise, hopefully in time I'll be able to run the 5k, and then I'll be more focused on my times or distance, and at that point I may decide not to count the walks to get my times up..... but thats a loooong way away for me yet.
See you at the finish line.

I log it all on the Nike Run Club App, as I think the activity/effort of the warm up/warm down is valid - at least in my mind it is. Using the NRC App, I then can look at just the running part of the activity. My last run was W7R3, and with a little faffing with the App I can see that in total I walked/ran/walked for 4.6km, of which 3.5km was the 25 minute run. Good luck on your next run! I'll be starting W8 later today!
