I have completed C25K twice on the treadmill and now I feel it's time to run out side.
1st run outside was a disappointment I ran for 5min and then stopped, ran another 1 min run x 3 with walking in between. Gutted.
My legs were completely drained of energy and felt like lead, but I was not tired.
I Looked at the data on GPS app it showing I was running faster than on the treadmill.
2nd run outside went back to week 4 run 1 from the program determined to slow down and keep running and it worked, slow as you go, legs were fresh, not tired and felt great. I think I've found my outdoor pace so I will stay with the program till I complete it again, (5 weeks). No hurry, no pressure just enjoy the running. Don't worry about walking.

I did notice my treadmill run is slower than my outside run as well. I always thought treadmill would be easier. It was my first time on treadmill though
I don't usually drink for 10-12k but it depends on the weather. I would if warm
Good decision! Running outside is just fabulous. Wind, rain, sun, trails, roads, hills and views, smells, sensations, nature and wildlife. Enjoy the journey
