Trumpet blowing time

... and why not? 9 weeks ago I was bent over panting after a 90 second jog. Over the past 3 months I've been on a "weight loss journey" and have used C25K as part of that journey. It's been tough but results have been amazing. I'm 2 stone lighter and will be running my final run of week 9 on Wednesday.

Apart from anything else I've gone from dreading going for that long run to really looking forward to it. The app really helped and having Jo Whilley keep popping in to give support has been surprisingly useful.

I've hit 5km already in week 8 and my run on Wednesday I'm going to try for 6km. It's never been about the distance for me but it was a nice surprise to see I was able to cover it. If I can't hit 6km then I won't lose sleep... after all, there's more running to be had beyond C25K.

Good luck everyone.
