I did my run just after 11am, I ran for 30 minutes, picked up the pace in the last 2 minutes but for at least 15 mins it was a mental battle as part of me was saying "stop it's too hot" (which it was) and "stop you're hungover" (which I am), however my legs kept going and I eventually won the mental battle!
For run 2 I'm going to run when it's much cooler and not drink the night before.
Hope you're all wellπππββοΈππ

Congratulations on completing run 1 of week 9, only two more runs until you graduate.
On Monday if that's the day you are going to run, run 2 of week 9, try getting out for your run ASAP as for the next few days the weather is to be warm and humid, even at 7 am it could be warm, but not as hot as later in the day.
Drink plenty of water on Sunday to keep hydrated and some just before you run. ππΎ
My runs are going really well thanks. Did a completely different run up in Cumbria but still managed it. It's starting to feel a lot more comfortable now.....famous last words ππ€£
Wow, what a slog and what a trooper! π Well done, I would definitely have wimped out of that run with a hangover! π₯΄Youβre next oneβll be a breeze after that! πππ€ΈββοΈ
Yes and as the famous saying goes 'never again'. Did run 2 tonight in more favourable conditions (internally and externally!) and went well. Thanks for your encouragement πππ
Fantastic thanks, that is great news for you, well done for getting this far, I know how hard it is. You should be rightfully proud of yourself. Enjoy your graduationπππββοΈπββοΈππ
