I started W6 R1 and smashed it! 👍 i then had devastating news of a family member lost her battle with covid! I just lost all motivation and ended up back on the couch! My depression was about to take over, and my partner just said afew blunt words to me to get me back on my feet! I then carried on with W6 R2! And couldn’t believe I actually smashed it again! 💪
It’s surprising how quickly and aggressive depression can be! Just grateful I have my loving caring partner x
Stay safe folks!

I'm so sorry to hear of your bereavement. It's no bad thing to let yourself feel what you feel for a moment... but it does sound as though you have a partner well tuned to do what you need.
May your running bring you solace and streak ahead of the black dog.
Thankyou, Running actually helped me a lot! Cleared my mind and gave me my motivation back.
So very sorry for your loss. Massive well done to you for getting out there, it’s not easy. Your post proves just how much physical exercise helps our mental health. Keep going, you’re doing amazing. Stay safe.
Depression is a bastard I feel you on that. The hardest part is making that first step in what ever task it is. Wether rolling out of bed or turning up at work. Sorry to hear about your loss. Keep on keeping on 🤙🏻🖖
Thanks. It is a horrible vile thing! It’s very easy to slip into it, It actually shocked me how much running/exercise can really help with mental issues 👍
You have had such a sad time...and what happened to you is absolutely understandable. But...thanks to your partner and to your own strength and determination, you are back out there, and trying to heal your mind and body again.
Wow!
A massive well done ...on you go, slow and steady, do, please, keep posting your progress here...we are all running together x
