So I broke my left leg In aug last year and have metal in it, but now I’ve started running it’s my right knee and leg that’s in pain. I’ve been putting ice on it but I’m just confused as to why it’s this leg and not the dodgy one.

Anyway I plodded on, not the best time but I struggled a bit with it

Well done.

The guide to the plan includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

I iced my legs and did a good stretch when I came back, hoping I’m not too sore tomorrow

Sometimes I think your good side has to work so much harder to protect your less good side that it gets more achy. Hope it all settles with a rest
