Hi there, I’m first time poster!

I’ve just done my W8 R1 today and I feel so disappointed. Having completed week 7 slowly, but without stopping today killed me. I was jogging slowly for all of 15mins today and felt the need to stop. I then had to stop 3 more times, I just couldn’t seem to push myself for some reason 😞 I didn’t stop for more than 40 seconds each time but it’s really knocked my confidence as this was a run I somehow actually felt like I’d be able to accomplish as I’ve seemed to surprise myself every other week.

Really hoping for a more successful second attempt on Friday.

It's the old story, some runs are better than others, however, you got out and ran a little, take a extra day off running and on Friday do the run again, drink plenty of water the day before you run and some before you start running, good luck.

I hope you have perked up a bit now,

Not all runs will be good for many different reasons. It doesn’t mean you aren’t capable of achieving your next run, you absolutely are capable!

Rest, an extra day if you need it, hydrate, stretch and get your mind ready for your next run, you can do this! 😀
