Just finished week 4 run 1 and had to stop in last 10 seconds for about 5 seconds then finished it - does this count? Really disappointed in my self and feel like giving up!

It's okay to feel disappointed but don't dwell on it. Could you imagine getting this far in week 1? You're doing great! I would absolutely say that counts, you've completed your run, in a way that is right for your body at this time. Be kinder to yourself! Some days I can run for thirty minutes, other days I'm ready to quit after thirty seconds so don't worry if not every run goes to plan, focus on the achievement. You went out, you did great. Your body is better for it. Well done!

Thank you you are totally right!! Just easy to get in your own head - you’ve made me feel so much better about it!

I don’t know if it’s any help to you, but but on run 2 of w4 I done brisk walking in the last like 20 seconds, for about 5 seconds and then went back to running, and was so annoyed with myself when Sanjeev said it was over - so don’t worry, I know how you feel!! It’s honestly up to you but I think if you ran fine for the rest of it I would say continue - that’s what I did and I was fine :) don’t give up though, it’s frustrating but you aren’t the only one I promise! However if you feel like you need to repeat that run, then do so :)

I know how you feel, we all have bad runs - it's how you come back from them that really matters. Feeling disappointed just shows how much this means to you, but don't let it hold you back. You are doing brilliantly!👏

Five seconds at the end of a run is a vanishingly short length of time, I'd count it as a win, but if it makes you feel more confident, you can always try it again.

Best wishes 👍
