Absolutely delighted to have completed the programme today. At the end of the 30 minutes, I was still feeling good so I kept on going. I did 5k in 33:20 π
When I first started C25K, I never thought I would stick to it. I have always been adamant that I hate running, but I think I just hated being bad at it π Going back as far as school, I never ran. I was always βunwellβ on cross country day, or Iβd use the time to have a slow walk and chat with my friends. I always chose the sports which I could remain stationary 90%+ of the time in PE.
Couch to 5k has been amazing for me. I now enjoy running, and will consolidate and maybe even consider running further in the future. I honestly canβt believe how far I have come. Week 1 exhausted me and now here I am. Iβm thrilled and now consider myself a runner, which I never thought would happen ππ»ββοΈ
Thank you so much to everyone on here who has been so supportive and given advice along the way! I couldnβt have done it without the encouragement of this group π

We must have finished at almost the same time - I've just posted my final run today. Congratulation. It feels amazing, doesn't it - especially since, like me, you sound like someone who avoided running at all costs previously. The forum has been brilliant too - agree with that - such great advice and wonderful support.
Thank you and congratulations to you too! It's such a great feeling isn't it, as soon as I finished the run I was completely elated. Who knew running could be enjoyable, i'm a changed person π
You too, runner! I'm sure we both have many more enjoyable runs ahead of us
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K π ππΎ π

Amazing - well done Runner Emily, you are an inspiration to us behind you - It's hard to think of week 9 when 90 seconds seems so tough in the 1st runs.. & now I've seen your 5k time I've got a target to aim at... well done on keeping going an good luck with the consolidation runs and your future adventures if you decide to push on.
Thank you! I was exactly the same, I never thought Iβd ever get past the early weeks, but here I am! The weeks really do fly by and itβs such a great feeling when you get to the end π good luck with your future runs, youβll be joining me soon as a graduate Iβm sure!
