Almost did not run!

My alarm went of and I could hear the rain ☔️ I snoozed the alarm and 10 mins later it was still raining! So I reset my alarm for tomorrow as was not feeling like a rainy run (new experience) and my shins were still recovering from my last run (I’m full of excuses). All of a sudden it stopped raining I convinced myself to get up, as I was getting ready the rain started again but I went for it and I did it! I went slow and steady as shins still sore with the aim of completing a minimum of 30 minutes at a comfortable pace!

Nice one... 5k on Global running day... and in the rain too! That wet stuff is out best friend in the summer... not so welcome in February 🤣. Happy running.

It was nice I thought it would be horrible but it was refreshing! Yes I doubt it would be nice in the winter months 🥶

🏃🏽‍♀️☔🏃🏽‍♀️☔🏃🏽‍♀️☔ That's so good, well done. You put me to shame: looked out this morning and it was dull and gusty, and my first thought was "not gonna achieve too many steps today" 🥴

The sun has now come out and I will go for a long seafront walk. Tomorrow I start Week 8 of C25K, 28 minute run 😳😳😳. I'm excited - hope it's dry or my resolve will be tested!
