Didn’t think I would ever get this far - 25 minutes done - no speed records broken but to think 7 weeks ago I couldn’t do a lap of the garden without feeling like I was doing to keel over., is some achievement. I’m type 1 diabetic too and juggling that with the exercise is tricky! Just shows what you can do when you stick at something!

Week 6 done
Well done! I had an abject failure at W6R3 this morning! I didn’t feel great heading out the door so negative mindset got me, especially when I realised I’d only ran for 11 minutes and had half to go! I walked a bit and then ran a bit and then rested a bit and then ran a bit more and then walked a little bit! Will try again this week with a can do attitude!
It was also my first run with any sort of hill so obviously not an ideal run to try that out on!
Luckily we don’t have many hills here although a running friend said if you don’t have hills to go up you can’t run down which sort of made sense.
My 26 yo daughter comes to set the pace for me and there’s no way I’m stopping with her there!! Sure you will get it done this week 👍
I did W6R3 this morning 😄 Very pleased!
Well done - just done first one of week 7 - still 25 minutes. Listened to desert island discs instead of music which made a change!
I was wondering about listening to a podcast at some point. Today I actually totally zoned out of the music, often I rely on it to keep me going but I just put on an album, opposed to shuffle or a playlist I’ve made for motivation, and don’t think I really listened to it.
