Hi all, I’ve only just found this forum but I’m finding it great for support and advice.
I competed week 6, run 3 this evening and honestly welled up when Laura said I was a runner now!
I still can’t believe I’ve stuck with it, but I think the mental health benefits have been amazing, nothing like that high when you finish a run to lift your spirits!! Does anyone else feel the same?

Finishing week 6 is a great achievement. I felt the same!
I too have found the mental health benefits so helpful. It’s a challenge finding time for myself with small children but I have proved there is always a way to fit it in and the feeling afterwards is always worth it.
Yes I know what you mean!! To be honest this started as an excuse to get out the house and have 30 mins for myself away from the kids 😂 I find that time so valuable at the moment.
Obviously it’s easier to find time in current circumstances as me and my husband are both working from home - I just hope I can keep it up long term, but I do think I’ve caught the bug now!
