Run 1 of week 6 done, in that roasting heat 🤢. Feeling quite good about how I'm getting on. Honestly never thought I would get here 🤣
Read a few posts previously about this run and fully agree the walking needs to go. Feel like I'm falling into my stride, then suddenly it's time to walk again. Legs are much sorer starting to run after my walk breaks. And I really can't believe I'm saying this when all i could focus on before was stopping to walk 🤣🤣
Also introduced my sister to the app, her and her boyfriend have decided to give it a try and both done their first run this morning.
This is really a contagious wee programme. Once you start and people see how you're progressing they all want to try 🤣
Hope we are all well!

Congratulations on running and walking run 1 of week 6, you say "the walking has to go" after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3, it's all to do with training to run non stop for 30 minutes on the last week of C25K
That’s so good to hear. I finished W5R3 and was gobsmacked that I did it. Was nervous all day. Now nervous for tomorrow’s W6R1 but you’ve reassured me. Thanks!
I was quite worried after lots of comments on here about people getting caught out with it but I definitely didn't find it half as bad as I was expecting.
Good luck with the run, I'm sure you'll smash it 🏃♀️😊
I’ve just done W6 R1 and was worried about the comments. Wish I hadn’t known about them. It was ok and just need to think positive and know there is a greater plan by people far smarter than us. Go do it !
