Last week I finished the 9 week programme running around 4.1km in 30 minutes.
Tonight I decided to head out at 8pm since it was cooler and just kept running until I did it - and ran it in 35 minutes too which I’m chuffed with!! I couldn’t run for 60 seconds without dying at the start of this so I’m buzzing.
One thing I think might have contributed to my run/speed this evening is I listened to music instead of my usual podcasts? Not sure if anyone else has a difference in motivation when doing this.

Congratulations! Great achievement. Music definitely helps me too - although I like to change it occasionally - maybe a podcast or an audiobook and even sometimes no headphones, just the world around me. Variety is the spice of running 😀
