So I got up at 6 (unheard of) and ran two lots of 8 minutes without stopping, HOWEVER, absolutely gutted as fiddling with my phone I managed to pause the walk and it wasn’t until I got bored of walking (yes, bored of walking) I thought I’d check and I’d walked for 9 minutes! 😡 Question, would you repeat this run? Feeling cheated (proud of the runs but robbed) 😞

Oh no! Don’t be too disappointed, you did brilliantly with the runs! I wouldn’t repeat, I’d just move on to run 3. 😁😁
Do what you feel you need to do. You know you have completed the two runs; that is what matters.
I would say a long as you were able to run for the full time that you should move onto the next run, you just had a nice break in-between haha!
Oh no , well I wouldn’t repeat it, I bet you had your breath back after a couple of minutes, the extra probably made no difference. Well done and keep going 😊
If you feel cheated then why not repeat it for your own self satisfaction. If not crack on to run3.
Btw I never got up before 7am, now I’m up before 6 with the aim to being out by 6, it’s a great time to be out.
I did exactly the same thing last week.... I wanted to switch podcasts whilst walking, then thought ‘this can’t be 5 mins’ and the app had stopped! Restarted it and just ran.... no need to repeat you did your running!!!
Well done for running the two 8 mins, that’s what counts, so you do not need to repeat.
Sometimes I wonder how people ran before we had tech🏃♀️🏃♂️I accidentally deleted my tun at the weekend and momentarily felt like the run never existed! But I was there, sweating and swearing, so it definitely happened.
Do the run again, just for the kudos and move on and when you get beyond intervals maybe just turn off the tech and run👍
If you feel that you completed it and could have managed without yhe extra long walk then thats good enough. If u feel ready for the run3 then go for it!
