running mind games

I know lots of posts mention the importance of the mind. As one of the older members of the community I am about to start week 8 so i have done a few 25 min runs. Can't believe how far I have come. What I have noticed is that 2 mins into a run I often feel it is really hard and I can't see how on earth I will get to 5mins, 10 mins or 25mins and I think I will just have to stop but somehow if I keep going I have realised that I do get there in the end. I think there must have been lots of times in the past when I've tried to run without the programme when I have just stopped and given up thinking it was beyond me but now C25K and all the posts help me to realise I am stronger than I think! So to all those in weeks 1- 7 just believe you will get there and you will, minute by minute ! good luck!
