It’s nine days since my last run, and I knew how important r it was to go out today. If I didn’t go today, it would make it so much harder to go on Monday, and then I’d be risking throwing away all the hard work I’ve put in this year to get back into running. So I procrastinated for a while, but eventually, reluctantly got ready and with a bit of encouragement from my friend 60 miles away, headed out.
The prospect of going straight back in where I left off was somewhat daunting, so I decided instead of using the week 7 podcast yet again, I’d go back a step and do week 6 run 3. 
Blatant mind games - but it works! 25 mins in the twilight drizzle DONE! I’ve had the park virtually to myself, instead of having to dodge all the crowds if I’d come out earlier, and twilight is definitely my favourite time of day to be outdoors. So I’m happy now 
But I think this means I have to brave up to week 8 next time. Eek!
