I’m on week 6 and tomorrow is my last run before I start week 7 😱 but I’m not finding it easy. I thought I would be feeling fitter and stronger to run for longer periods. I complete each run, getting slower towards the end but like I say I just feel like I’m struggling all the time x

Struggling!
Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Of course you are stronger and fitter............could you run for 25 minutes before you started C25k?
Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.
The slow pace, counterintuitively, is the one that builds your stamina and solid aerobic pace.
Enjoy your journey.
Don’t be so hard on yourself, if it was easy, everyone would be doing it 😊
The best (and at the time I thought useless!) advice I received was to take it slower! I thought it will be impossible to go any slower without walking but I have made the effort to maintain a painfully slow trot and managed to run longer without gasping for breath and giving up.
