Had a two week break for holiday and have done two runs this week on Wk8.
I have just bought some new Saucony’s to motivate me because those last two runs were awful.
I think my problem is hydration. I love tea but hate water. When I drink water I always feel like I’m drowning. I know I need to sort myself out and take control of this.

I started making an effort to drink more water before starting C25K
I found for the first 2 weeks it was really difficult (I drink 3 litres a day). After those first 2 difficult weeks, I found it much easier and felt so much better in myself
I sleep roughly 6 hours a night, so I have 18 hours to drink 3 litres, that's half a litre every 3 hours (just a small bottle of water). If you look at it like that it's not much. If you look at it all together it seems waaay too much lol
The only way is making an effort to drink lots more water, if you don't like water what about diluting juice or squash where ever you are in the country . It will make your running more enjoyable 😊
You know the rules ChipSticks - new shoes=photo!! Drinking water when you’re not keen is a pain especially if it’s not very nice in your area. My only suggestion is the same as Buddy34 - try diluting it with squash or cordial, or even a dash of orange juice. You don’t need much, just enough to taste. Happy running!
Tea tends to make one pee more, it can be counter productive to hydration if you drink too much. The key to getting the water down is not to drink it as such. Fill your bottle, let it come to room temperature and sip from it... that should help with the drowning sensation, and by sipping it you’re letting less of it pass straight through to the kidneys. Sipping it at room temperature stops your mouth and throat getting cold and cranking up the warming system, which causes a slight body temperature rise, which you certainly don’t want in the summer. I get through 3-4 800ml bottles a day this way pretty easily. Hope this helps.
