So I have 1 run left on week 3 and despite going well I developed calf cramp! I had to give up at the end of week 2 a month ago due to having excruciating runners knee in both knees!!! Determined to keep doing this until I succeed. Any tips from anyone?

Hi, I'm not an expert but I've read lots of advice on this forum. Have you looked at the runners' tips on the NHS Couch to 5K website? It is very important to warm up with some dynamic stretches before the run and then definitely do the post run held stretches properly (it is a bit boring but they help prepare the muscles for the next run). Are you warmed up sufficiently at the start by really walking very briskly for 5 minutes? I usually walk fast for 6-7 minutes to be sure. Hope this helps

Hi. Thanks for your reply. Yes have checked out the tips. I think it was triggered by the heat and lack of fluid before my run. Fingers crossed for a more successful run tomorrow 👍🏃🏻♀️
