Ahhhh...that was "easier" than I thought it would be, but it reminded me that I felt better in running for 20 minutes last week than doing these intervals and I felt more settled into my pace so looking forward to doing longer runs again.
Keeping faith with the programme though, onto Run 2 on Wednesday!

I've also completed week 6 run 1 this morning. I also felt that it was easier to run the 20 minutes. I wasn't expecting to feel that way but it must be the stop start of the intervals making it feel more difficult. I did find though that by doing the intervals I ran further, although I suppose that we were moving for 24 minutes (excluding the warm up and cool down walks) compared to the 20 minutes of the previous run. Maybe it was because I paced myself more to cope with the longer run?
